The Company is a subsidiary (approximately 85.23%) of Direct Insurance – Financial Investments Ltd. (hereinafter: the "Parent Company"). The Company's shares are listed for trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and trading therein commenced on May 18, 2004.
The shares of the Parent Company are held by Zur Shamir Holdings Ltd. (approximately 62.22%). The shares of the Parent Company are listed for trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

The Company is active in a number of major fields:
Life insurance: In this category the Company markets life risk policies, loss of earning capacity policies and savings products.
General insurance: In this category the Company is active in three fields: compulsory third-party (CTP) car insurance, property car insurance and home insurance. The Company markets additional products in the field of general insurance, which do not constitute a business category: comprehensive business insurance, employers' liability and third-party insurance, and health insurance policies.
The Company conducts its business in compliance with and is subject to the provisions of the Supervision of Insurance Business Law – 1981 and the regulations enacted thereunder.
The Company markets insurance policies by telephone in the direct method (obviating mediation by insurance agents), and since April 2007 has marketed CTP and property car insurance through its website.
