The Company was established on January 1, 2006, following a merger between Aryeh Insurance Company and Clal Insurance.
In March 2006 , the structural reorganization was completed ; the company’s life and non- life business was transferred to Clal insurance on January 1st 2006, and the Health and Long Term Care Insurance business, was transferred from Clal Insurance to the Clal Health company .
The establishment of Clal Health as an independent Insurance Company reflects the great importance of the Health insurance sector to Clal Group .
The company focuses on the development of the Health Insurance Sector and its operations are continually growing. Clal Health holds 17% of the local
Health Insurance market, which ranks the company as the second largest in Israel.
The Company offers a variety ofadvanced products which the public health system cannot supply and provides high-end Health insurance solutions to its clients.
The health division main product lines are insurance to individuals, groups, overseas travel insurance, insurance for foreign workers, long term care insurance and insurance for Israelis residing overseas.
