Menora Mivtachim (former name: Menora) was founded in 1935. Menora Mivtachim’s share in the insurance market is around 10% of the premiums sold in Israel, which places it in fifth place in the general insurance market.   

Following Menora Mivtachim acquisittion of Mivtachim pensions, Israel’s largest pension fund, Menora Mivtachim became the third largest insurance company in the life insurance and pension branch, with over 21% in both assets and premiums with an overall volume of assets of NIS17 billion in the pension branch and a premium turnover of NIS2.2 billion.
